For some weeks the school and all its many facets had been preraring for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. These preparations were to culminate in a series of events just befor half term. The Art and CDT departments were especially involved in the design and constuction of a variety of Jubilee inspired projects. These ranged from the colourfull bunting and flags to the hugely impressive mosaic which was worked on by every pupil in the school. The Jubilee assembly got the celebrations underway and incuded the national anthem by the school orchestra, memories from staff about the Queen in days gone by and presentations by the CDT and Art departments.
