We had an exciting time with a visit from our fabulous parent dentist, Rupal. The children learnt about how important it is to look after our teeth. There was a big discussion around the healthy foods to have for snacks and the children eagerly checked their snack boxes later to see if they had healthy items. There was an opportunity to learn about what happens if we don’t look after our teeth and they got to handle some real false teeth – they couldn’t believe how these would be comfortable in their mouths and hope they never get to find out! With a brushing experience with huge teeth and playdough fillings for cavities, they were certainly pleased to receive their own toothbrush, toothpaste and a brushing chart!
