The senior cross country team got their season off to a strong start by winning the county round of the English Schools Cross Country Cup competition, during a gloriously sunny afternoon on Cox’s Field. Congratulations to the whole team, most notably the three Year 7 pupils for making their U13 debut, and to Arthur for finishing in 2nd place overall. The team have now progressed to the regional round which will be held in November.
Our junior teams also got their first taste of running in a big pack at the annual race held at The Manor. It was fantastic to see the pupils giving it their all with some lung busting finishes.
