The U12s played Bruern Abbey in a Twenty20 fixture on a glorious afternoon, where the sun shone brightly. Abingdon Prep batted first and a partnership between Will and Oliver of 81 runs paved the way for a good innings of 123-3. Will retired on a score of 51, with Oliver scoring 30 (not out). With the ball in hand, the Prep shared the bowling around, and took wickets at regular intervals. Leading the charge on this occasion was Charlie, who took 3 wickets for 1 run, off 2 overs. Bruern were limited to 85. Our thanks go to Bruern Abbey for hosting an excellent afternoon of Cricket.
