Our Year 6s had great fun on Monday using the School’s new feed buddy machines.
The feed buddies deliver balls consistently and accurately allowing batsmen to groove shots and technique. They are similar to a cricket bowling machine but are at a slower pace specifically to work on the basics of batting. It can deliver up to 600 balls an hour making it the perfect training aid for batsmen of any age or ability.
We aim to use these for all of our age groups throughout the week and until half term and hope that this has a positive impact on the boys batting averages during next year’s summer term.
