Abingdon Prep artists have been hard at work creating their own ‘Lockdown Journals’ to visually record this time in their lives through creativity.

After making their journals from scratch, they were then encouraged to draw and paint ‘en plein air’ to record their surroundings at home.

Some boys have included videos and photography as another tool to record what life is like currently, as well as creating some wonderful watercolour paintings of their gardens, allotments and walks they have enjoyed so far.

When completed at the end of term they will hopefully be tucked into memory boxes as a fond reminder of all the positive activities they experienced throughout this time.
