Year 5 has been researching the delicious topic of ‘Food in Art’ this term. Increasing our knowledge of contemporary artists we have looked in detail at sculptor Claes Oldenburg and Wayne Thiebaud. Along with more familiar artists in history, Roy Lichtenstien, Cezanne and Guiseppe Arcimboldo. Some fantastic pastel observations were made by many of the Year 5 students, demonstrating their new found blending and observational skills.
