To consolidate their Science and topic focus, our Reception and Year 1 children enjoyed a fabulous trip to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Year 1 enjoyed a talk on animal adaptations, whilst Reception set off towards the roaring lions that could be heard from the car park. Baby rhino, camels, zebra and giraffe all featured as part of the African focus for our youngest children. The illusive Red Panda put in an appearance, and even demonstrated his skills at leaping from logs, high into the air and crashing into the undergrowth. With a much needed pit stop for an exciting picnic, it was then off to board the train for a safari ride around the park and the opportunity for a delicious ice cream!
