Reception enjoyed a very chilly visit to Cogges Farm to explore the Farmhouse and find out what Christmas would have been like through the ages. The children learned about the origins of different crafts and then had a go themselves making wreaths, paper chains, crackers and gingerbread stars which were then cooked on the range. A picnic in the barn and a bracing walk around the animals finished off a fantastically festive trip. Well done Reception!
