On Friday, the Junior Section met together for a special RE workshop with Rachel Whitmore. We learned all about Christingles – their origin, the symbolism behind them and, importantly, how to make them ourselves! The pupils really enjoyed this opportunity to see how Advent is marked in the church, as well as opportunities to think a bit deeper on what each part of the Christingle might represent.
