Thank you very much to Charles and Oliver’s parents for donating three beautiful banners to the Art department last week, in celebration of the Chinese New Year.
They were painted by the boys’ grandfather, a very skilled traditional craftsman in China, onto gold flecked red paper. The Year 5 and 6 Art Club was so inspired by the display that we made our own smaller versions, decorated with inks and cherry blossom.
Thank you again for the donation and for the inspiration.
