Reception spent last week finding out so many facts about China and the Chinese New Year celebrations. As it is the year of the Tiger, we decorated cakes with tigers and took some along to Craig. We shared our knowledge with him and he taught us that it was not just any tiger, but a Water Tiger! We returned to the classroom where our friends had been chopping vegetables for our feast. There were rice and egg noodles, crackers, peppers, corn, mange tout, oranges, prawn crackers and traditional sweets. A huge thank you to the parents who sent things into share.
