Today the half-term concluded with the annual school home clothes day. As has become customary in recent years, the theme was related to the charity which the school is supporting this year – Riding for the Disabled – and thus a connection to horses was the only prerequisite.

Once again, the boys did not disappoint and produced some fantastically imaginative outfits. With blow-up horses, jockeys, cowboys and even a bookmaker making an appearance as part of a brilliant effort to raise money for the charity. The most original outfit, however, must go to Joe who came dressed as a carrot because this is a horse’s favourite treat apparently!

Thank you to everyone for all the effort that went into making the outfits. It has helped to kick-start what promises to be another tremendous year of fundraising at Abingdon Prep.
