On Saturday the first of the art workshops for 2023 took place, with a mix of Year 6, 7 and 8 pupils experimenting with clay, to create a range of ceramics inspired by Pueblo pottery. Learning the ‘coil and scrape’ method to create large bowls, and experimenting on the potters wheel to create their own hand thrown bowls.
We decorated them with coloured slips and left them to dry. The fired bowls will be exhibited in the foyer of APS in the next few weeks. Very well done to all the pupils who attended.
