Year 7L has started the CDT term with a ‘bounce’ in their step. Making an electrical circuit with an off centre weight on the motor, then using a paper cup and felt tips, these colourful ‘Jitterpens’ were shared with the Year 1 class during their snack time. Amid the excitement, Crispin popped out of his office to see the gadgets in action.
In CDT, Year 6 has been set the task of making a simple wooden jigsaw using the electric fretsaws. Their independent skills have been impressive; as they followed the safety rules ensuring fingers were intact! Year 2 were the target audience who enjoyed piecing together the patterns with the help of the older boys and Crispin, who was even timed on his ability to complete the task in under two minutes.
