Headmaster, Craig Williams, visited the CDT room to see the Year 7 pupils in action as they were making some electric Jitterpens. With a knowledgeable view as to which model showed natural balance and stability Craig predicted how accurately the pen sets would move across the paper. The proof was soon evident as Year 7 ‘jittered’ their way to the year 1 classroom to show their robots to the younger pupils. Using an off centre weight on a series circuit, the cup pens drew fragmented circles on the paper in front of fascinated boys.
