Once again, our Headmaster, Craig Williams, witnessed the annual Boat Race for the second group of Year 8s this year.
Some interesting and well thought through vessels, made from recycled materials and rubber bands, were prepared to cross the school swimming pool under the Head’s starting orders. A sportsman’s sweepstake was a highlight but one of the lighter, more unusual looking crafts with two extending floating outriggers zoomed straight across the water much to the delight of the designers Alex and Alfie. Both fully deserved their GOLD awards!
