Some Year 8 boys have been involved in working towards their Bronze CREST award. This is a national award scheme for project work in the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). It gives young people opportunities to explore real world projects in an exciting way. They have worked on investigating their own ideas independently.
Topics have ranged from comparing different shampoos, finding the most effective washing powder, investigating the effects of drinks on teeth and comparing the effectiveness of insulation in houses.
