On World Book Day, boys in the Middle Section of the School were visited by the children's author Annabel Claridge. Annabel's novels centre around a time-travelling poodle, who becomes the pet of some important figures in history. In a very interesting talk, Annabel talked about how she researches her novels, and how she drafts and edits them. Pupils can now take part in the Middle Section Writing Competition, which involves writing a fictional story about a historical figure.
