To begin our exploration of The Platinum Jubilee, author and illustrator, Steve Antony, joined Reception to Year 3 pupils to share his books ‘The Queen’s Hat’ and ‘The Queen’s Handbag’. He demonstrated how to draw and shade simple illustrations from his many other books too. At the end of the day, he joined parents to draw and chat with them, signing books and adding little illustrations too. We are certainly ready to find out more about our Queen and will share the facts in our mini presentations later this term.
