Matt Dickinson, author and intrepid explorer visited Abingdon Prep. In our morning assembly, he described the trials and tribulations of working in extreme environments. He also described the satisfaction and elation when achieving one's goals, including reaching the summit of the world's highest mountain, Everest. Matt went on to work with Years 6 and 7 where he talked further about working in extreme environments and led a creative writing workshop.
