The CDT and Art departments have opened their doors to the public, parents and governors, exhibiting a vast array of art and design work made by students from Reception to Year 8.
The range of media this year is truly outstanding from moulded plastics and shaped wooden salad servers, to wheel thrown pottery alongside dry-point etching and ink caricatures of Barack Obama!
Here are just some of the student reviews from this year's exhibition so far:
“Here at Abingdon Prep I have seen some amazing work. If you stepped into the Art and CDT rooms your jaw would drop and you would stare in amazement!” “If there is one piece of work that has really caught my eye it is Sacha's cake made out of clay, yum!” Year 3 student
“I think this exhibition would be so cool to inspire little people to be artistic. I think the Art Scholars in the corridor are very inspiring, especially Harry and Sacha, they are so creative!” Year 5 student
“I think Art and Design are a great pastime to show your feelings but is also calming too.” Year 5 student
