Year 4 have been exploring art in India this term. Linking to maths we experimented creating mandalas using a radial symmetry method. As the sun was shining, we moved our art lesson outside, working in three teams using chalks the boys had to work collaboratively to create a unique, creative mandala with symmetrical patterns. Fantastic teamwork and some very creative ideas.
