11 November 2014
Today, on Armistice Day, the whole school gathered in the quadrangle to observe the 11 o’clock two minute silence. A boy in Year 8 along with our peripatetic music teacher Andrew Townsend played the trumpet to the familiar strains of The Last Post and then Reveille to lead us through the important act of remembrance during this centenary year. From youngest to oldest, our boys exercised great respect and dignity as they stood still and silent in moments of reflection.
