Year 8 spent the morning with Lizzy Rowe, lecturer in Visual Thinking; Art History seminars and practical workshops for children. Lizzie was impressed by the boys sound knowledge of famous structures and their willingness to contribute their thoughts and ideas on those buildings they were less familiar with. After a wonderful presentation by Lizzy the boys set to work with enthusiasm and gusto to design their own imaginary architectural structure.
Lizzy will return in January to deliver a second workshop to Year 8 where a collaborative imaginary street will be erected compiling every student's architectural design.
