Last week audiences were taken on a trip to Wonderland as Years 3 and 4 performed Alex in Wonderland, Abingdon Prep’s very own take on the Lewis Carroll classic. The author himself acted as a narrator as Alex fell down the rabbit hole and encountered a whole range of well-known characters including the Duchess, the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar and the King and Queen of Hearts. Of course, we also witnessed an extremely bizarre tea party with the March Hare and, of course, the Mad Hatter! Sherrey and Claire provided some very special props including a teapot for the sleepy dormouse and a sleeping-bag caterpillar! Well done to all the pupils for such an enjoyable evening’s entertainment and thank you to everyone involved for all their hard work.
