Abingdon Preparatory School

Rugby is played in the Autumn Term at Abingdon Preparatory School with the matches generally taking place on a Wednesday afternoon and some fixtures being played on Saturdays.

Skills are taught in the games periods within the school timetable and age groups are divided into Under 13, Under 12, Under 11, Under 10, Under 9 and Under 8's (tag rugby). Opposition teams include Dragon, M.C.S., Bruern Abbey, Pinewood, Abingdon School, Oratory School, St. Hugh's, Caldicott, Cokethorpe, Prior Park and Chandlings Manor.

Abingdon Preparatory School enjoys having a number of playing fields and all boys are encouraged to take part in this keenly contested sport.
