Wind, Brass and Percussion Day

Radley 02

10 October 2011

On Monday 10th October 10 musicians went off to Radley College to join lots of other pupils from prep schools around the area. There were some quite interesting instruments from a tenoroon to a tuba. We were split into different groups: brass, woodwind and percussion and each group had to learn their own separate piece. The brass group played 'Drunken Sailor' which sounded a bit like a drunken sailor to begin with!! After lunch we became an orchestra and we all learnt a piece together called 'Funky Groove School', a strange title but actually it was quite catchy and our final performance was a great success.
