Primary 10

Over the past few weeks, the boys in Year 3 have written some poetry with Year 3 children at Marcham Primary School.

Following an initial meeting of poetry partners to brainstorm ideas for an acrostic poem, the pairs emailed their ideas and amendments to each other. The result has been two presentations, one at each school. The children have enjoyed sharing ideas with a new friend. We hope you enjoy reading their poems.
We are most grateful for the support of our colleagues at Marcham Primary and special thanks must go to Katherine Johnson, Louise Butt and Annabel Eade for ensuring the success of this project.

April brings us showers

The wind is in the sky

Hurricanes and snow

Everyone inside

Roll on summer

Wet days are damp and grey

Everyone can't wait till May

Together or alone, with other people or without, enjoy the music!

Recognising the notes

Enjoying yourself a lot

Be very careful, you might get it wrong!

Learning new things

Encourage others to have a try

Cello or violin, or maybe double base, have fun with music!

Let your imagination fly, inspire yourself!

End the practice now, I think you're good enough!

Flute or recorder, they're both the same

Fun with fantastic music
