A group of year 6-8 boys from the invitation artist group at APS worked with Head of Art Michele Kitto and Artist/educator Ian Shearman on a wire sculpture workshop all day in their art studio.
The boys worked from 9-3pm responding to images drawing in wire and then using a range of different techniques to create their sculptures including, tissue, wax, metal and glue.
Ian Shearman is a former Head of Art Education at Cambridge University and experienced teacher. He currently works as a landscape painter in Cornwall and Gloucestershire.
