Year 4 set off for the Ridgeway after a hearty lunch, with enthusiasm in bounds. We arrived at the start point in West Ilsley before walking six miles in blazing sunshine to our overnight location Court Hill Centre, Wantage. Tired feet were grateful to see the centre and we quickly changed out of walking clothes and created dens in the woods. After a fantastic supper, quick burst of Frozen, pyjamas were pulled on and beds were crawled into.
The next (very) early morning, we were treated to a full English breakfast before heading back onto the path. Wonderful weather followed us all the way to our finishing point at White Horse Hill, Uffington.
