Pre-prep enjoyed a lovely morning visit to the local Earth Trust nature centre, learning the skills to be a real pirate treasure hunter using all five senses.

First we were given a map of a trail and had to use the compass to follow the path, did we have to go north, south, east or west? Our first job was to use our eyes to hunt for four items of nature's treasure: something yellow, a grass as high as our knees, a stick in the shape of a letter in our names and a feather. Some of these were easy to find but everyone had to look hard to find a feather, it was tricky!
