The sun is shining and the lighter evenings are upon us, so what better way to spend your down time than exploring the idyllic Oxfordshire countryside?
Nick Lloyd has reported back on his recent cycling adventures…
“With the evenings getting warmer and lighter, it’s a great opportunity to get out and explore the great Oxfordshire countryside to get some much needed sunlight (to top up the vitamin D) and fresh air, as well as some exercise! I have recently started cycling around the area just to the north east of Oxford where you can find the quaint British villages of Elsfield, Woodeaton and Islip (a particular highlight has been taking note of all the lovely country pubs which I intend to visit once it is safe to do so!).
Cycling in the evening means the air is cooler than the middle of the day and you have almost empty roads! Take deep breaths and enjoy the fresh air but don’t open your mouth too wide as you might end up with a mouth full of midges!”
