Based at Abingdon School Sports Centre Abingdon Swim School is a friendly and caring swimming school situated in Abingdon School Sports Centre. Swimming lessons are available for ages 4-11 years. Click here for more information on prices and enrolment dates for your child. Based at Abingdon School Sports Centre Welcoming boys and girls aged 5 to 15 years. Our junior sessions are group based activities, designed to give an introduction into the world of climbing. Whilst focusing on enjoyment, your instructor will teach climbing techniques and basic safety skills required to progress in this sport. Based at Abingdon School Sports Centre Take part in what promises to be an enjoyable week full of skill development, gameplay, and tactical aspects. This camp is for players looking to develop fundamental techniques and competitive gameplay. Participants should bring their own packed lunch each day, along with weather appropriate clothing. October half term: 9.00am – 4.00pm on each day. The cost of this 5-day academy is £295 per person Please note, in order to book your child’s place, you will be prompted to create an online account if you do not already have one. Based at Tilsley Park Join us for our all-new Elite Rugby Skills Camp, designed to nurture young talents by helping them refine their existing rugby skills while teaching essential injury prevention techniques for a safe and enjoyable rugby journey. This comprehensive camp covers fundamental skills such as passing, catching, and kicking, as well as tactical strategies, set plays, and game management. The primary goal of this rugby camp is to instill in participants a drive for continuous self-improvement, both on and off the field. By fostering teamwork, effective communication, leadership, and resilience, the camp aims to inspire young players to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives. Sheldon Graddon, originally from South Africa, oversees the high-performance rugby camps held at Abingdon School and Tilsley Park. Sheldon began his rugby journey at King Edward VII, one of the top 10 rugby schools in South Africa, and continued playing during his university years. In his twenties, Sheldon relocated to Oxford, where he now represents the Oxford Harlequins 1st XV in National League Two. Additionally, he serves as the head of rugby and leads the rugby academy at Brockhurst and Marlston House School in Newbury. Participants should bring their own packed lunch each day, along with weather-appropriate clothing. This includes indoor trainers and outdoor boots. October half term 8.30am – 4.00pm on each day. The cost of this camp is £60 per person, per day, or a discounted rate of £199 per person for the full 4-days. You can choose to attend all 4-days, or single days. SuperCamps offers a wide range of fun and engaging activities for children aged 4 -12 years old throughout the school holidays, led by qualified and experienced staff. With flexible childcare options, their Multi-Activity camps are bookable as individual days or a week at a time, and with extended hour options to help working parents with early drop-offs and late pick-ups. As they are fully Ofsted registered, they also accept childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare as full or part payment. These Multi-Activity camps offer an exciting programme of creative activities, team games and sports. From ball games and pedal karts to nature, art and messy-play, there’s something to suit all ages and abilities.
