Hockey facilities available to all
We have fantastic facilities available at Tilsley Park for Hockey, and we welcome clubs and organisations to hire us for their fixtures. Our full-size ATP hockey pitches offer all-year-round, high-quality floodlit sports facilities.
Abingdon Hockey Club
is a vibrant and friendly club with bags of spirit. The club offers opportunities for players of all levels of experience and all ages.
It has five men’s teams, three women’s teams, and one mixed team. So, whether you are looking for competitive weekly hockey on a Saturday or a relaxed, friendly run-around on a Sunday, there is a team for you! The main season runs from September to April, and the club hosts a summer league at Tilsley Park from May to July.
Abingdon Hockey Club also boasts a fantastic juniors section. The Avengers (players aged 6 to 12 years) train on Sunday mornings, while the Eagles (ages 12 to 14 years) train on Monday evenings. The juniors participate in tournaments throughout the season, both at Tilsley Park and other clubs, and the U14s compete in league games.
