This free event will raise awareness of the issues affecting young women and girls as well as inspiring others to make a positive contribution towards those issues. It will include presentations from writer and commentator, Shabnam Nasimi; Equality and Diversity Adviser, Samaneh Savadi; Afghanistan’s first female Diplomat, Professor Anne Goriely and Professor Hashem Koohy, both from the University of Oxford; Civic leader and advocate for a better, safer and more equal world, Maryam Mahboob, a Human Right activist and Dr Tahiri Danesh, Chief Executive Officer of Africa College Foundation.
