As Elton John knew, “Sorry” is certainly the hardest word.
And not just for the senior leaders in this new satirical play as they try to respond to an unfortunate incident on the school premises.
Our lives are increasingly littered with public figures lining up to apologise for one misdemeanour or another. But all too often, the “s” word not only sticks in their throats but further inflames passions on all sides.
Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised. After all, “to err is human; to forgive, divine.”
Featuring some strong language, our middle school cast tackle John Donnelly’s comically entertaining play with relish.
