Abingdon Sports and Leisure facilities remain closed due to the general situation with coronavirus.
We will endeavour to provide clear communication to our customers as the government provides further information on when and how sports and leisure facilities can reopen. We are also taking into consideration the guidance from sports and arts governing bodies regarding the specific procedures that should be in place to operate safely.
Although there has been some partial relaxation of lockdown, this does not currently extend to sports centres, theatres and only with very specific criteria for outdoor facilities. As the guidance stands at the moment, we are not in a position to operate our facilities (Abingdon School Sports Centre, Tilsley Park and the Amey Theatre), although we are monitoring the situation very closely and this is under constant review.
