How are you keeping fit and active whilst our facilities are temporarily closed? We are fortunate to have some beautiful countryside on our doorsteps in Oxfordshire, so why not explore it for yourself if you live locally?
Kieran Henderson has kindly shared his experience from his most recent adventure to Boars Hill…
“This is a magical time of year to enjoy Boars Hill for runners, walkers and nature-lovers alike. The bluebells were out early this year and there was an abundance of blue carpets. If you are interested in nature, you may see or hear skylarks, thrushes, woodpeckers, cuckoos, red kites, or even a fox barking! In the changing season you will see daffodils, pink campion, forget me not and wild garlic. Go early in the morning and the air is cool and the surroundings tranquil, but still full of colour, life and sound as nature never sleeps!”
