We apologise to our track and field customers for the inconvenience the repairs to our 3G in-field pitch will cause. The track will be closed until 5.30pm Monday to Friday, at which point we will be opening to the public. It will be normal access hours at weekends. The inside lane will be unavailable throughout the project due to the building site fencing.
The scheduled completion date of November was delayed due to the requirement for additional work on the project, which was regrettably out of our control. The final phase of this work will commence on 6 January, with a scheduled completion of Friday 27 March 2020. Work over the winter period is subject to suitable weather and we will provide a further update if there is any change to this.
We are committed to providing excellent facilities and service at Tilsley Park. The repairs will greatly improve the 3G pitch with a better tarmac base and new 3G turf. It has been difficult to find a suitable time to carry out repairs and we are very sorry for the disruption that it may cause.
