This week, construction has started at Tilsley Park, with significant upgrades being made to the existing 5v5 pitch fencing, which is weathered and worn from extensive usage. We are replacing all of the existing fencing with brand new green, galvanised mesh fencing, which we hope will improve the playing experience and create a much more welcoming environment for all our customers. The project will take roughly four weeks to complete, and our contractors have already made good progress this week.
In addition to the new fencing, we will be installing recesses for the goals on all of our 5v5 pitches, which will enhance the player experience by making the goals flush to their surroundings, instead of protruding outwards onto the pitch as they currently do.
Throughout the construction process, the 5v5 pitches remain closed and we will inform all customers once they are ready to use.
