The RAF Mustangs, the defending interservice champions, lost their first game of the season under the lights at Tilsley Park on Friday night, with the British Army Jackals emerging victorious. A strong defensive performance by the Jackals, which included five interceptions and two safeties, secured their win.

Final score: RAF Mustangs 6 – 18 British Army Jackals.

Spectators enjoyed an excellent game, enhanced by offerings from the Tilsley Park bar and café, which sold a wide range of delicious beverages and snacks. Spectators also enjoyed tasty smokehouse food from a local independent food truck, Burnout BBQ.

The next military American football event at Tilsley Park will be the Army Bowl III on 22 March 2025 and admission is free. We look forward to seeing many new and familiar faces then.
