Partial reopening of our facilities – Latest update:
Tilsley Park
Following government guidance, we have been able to extend our activity programme to include competitive sports. We can reassure you that we are strictly following the government’s latest requirements in conjunction with the relevant National Governing Body guidance, and we ask that customers assist us in adhering to these guidelines.
Please also be aware that it is now a legal requirement to collect customer data to support NHS Track and Trace. Therefore, we would be grateful for your assistance with this when using our facilities.
Fancy a game of football?
Tilsley Park offers some of the best sports facilities in the area, offering all-year-round, high-quality floodlit sports pitches – very popular with local clubs and organisations. Our pitches are available to hire, whether you are a football club wanting to train, or a group of friends wanting to have a casual game, Tilsley Park is the place for you.
We are pleased to offer 50% off Friday pitch bookings until 31 October 2020. To find out more information, please click here.
We would also like to remind customers that Tilsley Park track use is only open to athletic club bookings at the moment due to the necessary precautions that we need to have in place.
Abingdon School Sports Centre
Due to the strict Covid-19 procedures presently in place at Abingdon School, we regret that we will be unable to offer Abingdon Sports and Leisure membership activities until the New Year, when it will be reviewed. This includes the gym, swimming pool, badminton and indoor exercise classes at the Sports Centre. However, please be assured that membership accounts will remain frozen and you will not be charged.
In the meantime, we have relocated an extensive range of indoor and outdoor exercise classes to Tilsley Park and we hope that these will be of interest to you.
Our exercise classes are for all abilities and everybody is warmly welcome to take part, whether you are an existing member or a pay-as-you-go customer.

Amey Theatre
The Amey Theatre is temporarily unavailable for public activities and we will provide further information as soon as this position changes.
