Our February half term ‘The World of Games – 2D and 3D Gaming’ camp took place this week, run in partnership with the Coding Guild. Throughout the 3-day camp, children learnt how to develop a 2D video game from start to finish using Construct 3, a world-class game development kit.
During this camp, children learnt how to:
- Simulate mechanical puzzles
- Create special effects
- Animate sprites
- Mix their own music for their game and create 3D effects with the camera view
Each child left the camp with an excellent game that they developed over the 3-days, ready to share with their family and friends.
