We are trying our best to provide clear communication and manage what is a very difficult and quickly evolving situation for all concerned.
Please be aware that Abingdon School Sports Centre, Tilsley Park and the Amey Theatre will be closed to the public from Thursday 5 November 2020. This is due to the new government restrictions which state that sport and leisure facilities must temporarily close. During this time, these facilities will remain open for educational purposes only.
At this stage, we expect Tilsley Park to reopen to the public from Thursday 3 December 2020, but this is reliant on the national lockdown restrictions being lifted and not extended. When this facility does reopen, we will notify customers and publicise widely.
We will of course keep our website updated with all important news and announcements. As the situation develops, we may send out further communication. In the meantime, we hope that these FAQs will help with any further questions:
