On Saturday 22 June, the Amey Theatre buzzed with excitement as we hosted “An Evening with Reverend Richard Coles,” an event organised by Mostly Books as part of their Independent Bookshop Week celebrations.
Richard Coles is a writer, broadcaster, and Anglican priest. He co-presented Saturday Live on BBC Radio 4 for eleven years and appears, from time to time, on QI, Have I Got News for You, and Would I Lie to You?
The evening featured a captivating conversation between Richard Coles and author Joanna Cannon, providing entertainment and thoughtful reflections that were thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees. The event was a testament to the vibrant literary culture celebrated during Independent Bookshop Week.
