Abingdon School
Abingdon School is set in 35 acres of beautiful grounds, close to Oxford and easily accessible from London and major studios. We have an impressive array of filming locations, from our Big School, which dates back to 1870, to our athletics facility, classrooms, boathouse and grounds.
The site benefits from on-site parking and is well suited to accommodating crews of all sizes, from small teams to large-scale productions. A broad selection of adaptable indoor spaces is available to support production needs, including areas suitable for use as green rooms, dressing rooms, production offices, and catering services. With its variety of settings, flexible spaces, and accessible layout, the campus provides an ideal location for filming, location work, and set creation.
Abingdon Prep School
Abingdon Prep School is available for filming projects, offering a diverse and attractive range of backdrops across the site.
Facilities and locations include modern classrooms, sports halls and outdoor sports facilities, outdoor play areas, open communal spaces, and 30 acres of sports fields and grounds.
With easy vehicle access, ample on-site parking, and a variety of indoor and outdoor settings, the site provides a flexible filming environment for productions of all sizes.
Abingdon Prep School
Tilsley Park
Additional high-quality sports facilities are available at Tilsley Park, further expanding the opportunities for production use.
Located 2.5 miles from Abingdon School, Tilsley Park features an eight-lane, floodlit artificial-surface running track, together with facilities for a wide range of field athletics disciplines, including javelin, shot put, discus, hammer throw, steeplechase, pole vault and long jump.
The venue also includes a 500-seat covered grandstand and an umpires’ box overlooking the finish line.
Football facilities comprise all-weather pitches, including a new 4G surface and a dedicated throws area. Available for hire are the RFU-, RFL- and FA-certified 4G pitch, as well as two full-size, floodlit all-weather hockey pitches with spectator seating.
We can accommodate large productions outside of term time only; however, please let us know your preferred dates and we will be happy to explore what may be possible. Term dates can be found here. Smaller productions can be accommodated year-round.
