On Sunday 1 March, Abingdon Sports and Leisure held the first bodybuilding posing workshop of 2026 season.
The workshop offers athletes of all backgrounds the opportunity to learn from expert coaches and to understand better how to present their physiques, or improve their skills, amongst like-minded individuals and as part of a great bodybuilding community.
Led by coach Darren Shepherd-Loxton, who has had over 20 years experience coaching female and male athletes securing several British and world bodybuilding titles, the team also included British and world champion, Dan Sutcliffe; British champion, Dan North; Lloyd Brown and Flick Williams.
Over 30 athletes, coming from as far afield as Manchester, Southampton and Weston-super-Mare, attended the session. Their expertise in competitive bodybuilding ranging from novices who have never stepped on the competitive stage before, to highly experienced athletes who have secured podium finishes and world titles.
