This autumn, we have welcomed many families to our dedicated Science Partnerships Lab for Family Science Club. In October’s session, Shocking Electricity!, we investigated static electricity, discovered what makes a good conductor or insulator, and built electric circuits with light bulbs and motors.
In November, adults and children worked together in a session on Kitchen Chemistry—Chemical Reactions using items found around the kitchen. We created carbon dioxide from vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, made red cabbage indicators, and experimented with yeast.
We hope to see you at the next Family Science Club on Saturday 7 February, all about a Healthy Heart! Click here to book.
