Teacher with head in hands, in front of screens of Abingdon pupils in fancy dress

How do you put on a school play in a pandemic? With difficulty…especially if you’re jaded drama teacher Nigel Nixon, struggling to win over a large cast of 11 and 12 year olds. ‘Diary of a Drama’ tells the tragi-comic story of rehearsals for something that always seems stubbornly out of reach, much like the prospect of a quick end to the pandemic.

Performed by the Lower School, with Alex Mugnaioni, Joe McDonnell and Ben Phillips.
